I think everyone heard about the food poisoning incident at the Geylang Serai market shows how poor hygiene can have a wide impact on public health.Singaporeans view hygiene as part of gracious behaviour, during a community event to welcome new resident or something else.

This is what Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong said If you have poor hygiene in public places, littering, food all over the place, rats running around the market, that's very ungracious behaviour,'

What he said is very true. The incident suggested something was amiss but stressed that Members of Parliament for the area were quick to respond and were not absent, as some rumours had it.So we should do something about it.We shouldn't let other counties people say Singapore people are so ungracious.

Singaporean parents play their role in the proper upbringing of their children.Sadly, there are a number of parents today who spoil their children.Increasingly, I observe many young children, like me,not greeting their elders, whether it's their relatives or neighbours and their parents do not teach them that it is only courteous to do so.Parents have a critical role to play on teaching their children basic courtesy - whether it's giving up their seats to the elderly, or giving way to the disabled.Legislating care for the elderly can be only a short-term measure. But having said that, the aged, too, should not ask for more than what their children can afford as they have their own commitments and families to care for. They must try not to rely totally on their children if they are financially independent. It is sad that in our society, things get done only when legislated.
This is our group video.

I guess it is very logical for Spore govt to continuously pushing all means possible to increase Singaporeans graciousness. It is in Spore's interest to push their graciousness to max since they wanted to promote Singapore as a Tourism site and not a big Mall Island where people can shop.I realize that Singaporean is not exactly gracious.. nor are they friendly. At least that is how they look like. Singaporean doesn't smile very often, they walk very fast and they don't have time to pay attention to other people especially due to the fact that they always have an urgent matter to attend to.But don’t judge the book by its cover, it’s true that Singaporean don’t really smile when they happen to make eye contact with stranger, but they give seat to people who needs it (maybe because now we have Stomper everywhere) and they do are a good people if you know them.Graciousness is never about other people. It is something that comes from the kind heart. I guess sporrans sometimes are just too busy to stop for a minute and look around.

Other counties people always said that Singapore is clean and green.People are very nice, friendly and  gracious to each others. But we,Singaporean know it very well.Singaporean don't clean up after they ate their food.Today i interview a uncle who never clean up his table after eating it.He said For what clean the table after we ate. Then we Singaporean hired the cleaner and paid them for? This should not be the case as we are old enough to clean up after ourselves.

In order to achieve our aim of educating Singaporean on leaving the Coffee shop tables clean,we should educate the students on leaving the canteen tables clean so that when they go out with their parents they will teach the adult to do the things that is right not the things that is wrong. We can paste some poster around the school canteen and teacher can talk about graciousness during the PSE lesson to let them know how important is graciousness.

GRACIOUSNESS.The definition of that word is the state of being gracious.

me and group intend to promote graciousness and educate the people of singapore to be gracious with each other. We singaporeans always have the mindset that if we help people others will look at us with a strange look. But my group want to change singaporeans outlook in that matter . Being gracious is simple, giving up seats in public transport, cleaning the tables after using them, not littering, not smoking in crowded places. If we follow mere simple rules , we may increase our country's social standing among other neighbouring countries higher.so be cool and gracious
